Join us as we launch a Rodenburg training center in New York City! 

 

Celeste Moratti and Erin Roth are partnering to offer classes and training in the Patsy Rodenburg method and Shakespeare. We are both Patsy Rodenburg Associates (PRAs) trained and certified by master voice and Shakespeare teacher and coach, Patsy Rodenburg, OBE. 

 

This workshop will include:

  • A Rodenburg workout on presence, body, breath, voice, speech and text

  • An intro to ensemble work

  • In-depth text exercises to understand and unlock your speech 

  • Individual work on speeches in ensemble

 

This workshop if for you if you:

  • Have a new Shakespeare speech, or an old speech you want to refresh

  • Want an introduction Patsy Rodenburg’s method

  • Already love the Rodenburg method and want to work in ensemble

 

You will leave with

  • A speech that has been worked from the inside out, and that you’ll be able to deliver with intention, presence, energy, specificity, and ease

  • A short warmup that you can do on your own - before auditions, shows etc.

  • An deeper understanding of the Rodenburg method

 

Please prepare a Shakespeare speech in verse. You may hold your book if need be, but make sure your speech is well-worked. 

Wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to work barefoot. If you can’t work barefoot please bring minimal sneakers or grip (sticky) socks.
